Terroir oblige

Dosage Zero era for Franciacorta has just began. The land of the Metodo Classico and Italian Bubbles  mbraced the philosophy of natural wine. Dosage Zéro has no added liqueur d'expédition (the dosing syrup added in minimal amounts to  Champagne or other Franciacorta) to empower the finest expression of its  terroir.

The Franciacorta wine region is located in the Brescia area, in the hills immediately south-east of the foot of Lake Iseo. Its unique moraine terroir, shaped by a huge glacier millions of years ago, whose activity melted  minerals, rocks and sand and enriching the soil, creates the identity of Franciacorta. Warm, sunny, summer days are followed by cool nights , creating conditions for the grapes to ripen, while retaining the acidity, essential  for sparkling wines. Terroir, climate and, of course, cellar. A wine can be named Franciacorta after 18 months on the lees. The Dosage Zero allows the natural development of wine while keeping complexity and freshness. A pure brut wine with bubbles better tasted and recognized.
